An open-range safari park on the plains at Monarto, a short drive from Murray Bridge, run by Zoos SA as a conservation charity — every ticket, adoption and donation goes toward saving species from extinction. The residents are African and Australian: lions, giraffes, rhinos, cheetahs, chimpanzees and zebras among them. Keeper talks and closer animal encounters, including the Lions 360 experience, run alongside general admission, and there is resort accommodation on site. Entry fees apply.
