Ngukurr Arts

On the banks of the Roper River in Ngukurr, deep in South East Arnhem Land, this Aboriginal-owned art centre draws together artists from the region's Yugul Mangi clans. The work runs to vividly coloured contemporary painting and printmaking, and the centre keeps regular weekday hours as well as opening by appointment. It sends work out to events like the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair while staying a working studio and gallery on Country.
