Skipper Brett runs deep-sea fishing charters out of Port Macquarie aboard the Ocean Star, a 40-foot custom Randell charter boat. Trips leave from the Short Street end of the Town Green Boardwalk in the early morning, chasing snapper, flathead, tailor, pearl perch, kingfish and dolphin fish. All the gear is supplied, with the pitch that all you need to bring is your hat.
