The only cafe in the region to roast on site, working out of a shopfront on Evan Street since 2020. Founder Dan taught himself the craft on a first roaster built from a bread maker in Fremantle, and now turns out more than 500 kilograms a week for the counter, a wholesale program and cafes across the region. House blends carry names like Soul Mate, Funky Monkey and Date Night, sold as beans online and poured in the adjoining Primal Cafe. The business is owned and run by a veteran, with a stated focus on supporting the local veteran community, and runs an in-house barista training academy alongside its retail and wholesale trade.
