Cameron Elder is the bladesmith behind Sacred Blades, a Sydney maker who came to steel from the kitchen, a chef since fourteen, with a grounding in bushcraft and the outdoors. He makes bushcraft, outdoor and kitchen knives by hand, working in premium materials with what he calls time-honoured technique and an uncompromising eye for detail. The intent is plain in his own words: to create heirloom blades, objects made to be kept and handed on rather than replaced.
