Tarkine Fresh Oysters is Tasmania's largest single oyster farm, operating for over 40 years in the nutrient-rich waters of Duck Bay and Bolduan's Bay. The onshore facility in Smithton offers live and shucked oysters for takeaway, topped baked varieties, and a small seated café serving natural or cooked oysters, seafood chowder, oyster bao buns, and light meals.
