Six log cabins on a 61-hectare private nature reserve at Loongana, in the Leven valley between Black Bluff and the Cradle plateau. Spring water piped from within the reserve, open log fires, full kitchens. The included program is the point: a dusk platypus tour, a guided night walk, the glow worm grotto. After dark, Tasmanian devils and spotted-tailed quolls come to the cabins to feed. Eleven of the twelve Tasmanian endemic birds breed on the property.
