A cosy wine bar a short stroll along Brockman Street, this spot trades on regional bottles and seasonal tapas rather than a sprawling menu. Dinner is the whole point here: it opens Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm until late, and Sunday from 5pm, so it suits a slow, grazing meal at the end of the day. Small plates are built to share and matched to wines from the Southern Forests and beyond, and the room has an easy, neighbourly feel that draws locals as readily as visitors. It began as an independent operation opened by a local couple in 2017 and now continues under new management in the same relaxed format. Hours are limited to the weekend, which is worth planning around, but for an unhurried evening of wine and tapas in karri country there are few friendlier rooms in town.
