Wavelength

Owned since 2014 by local marine biologists John and Jenny Edmondson, this Port Douglas operation has been running outer-reef trips since 1986. Experienced marine biologists give guided snorkel tours and reef talks every day, with typically three biologists aboard, and boats visit three exclusive outer-reef sites daily rather than the busier inner spots. Snorkelling is the focus rather than diving, aboard the vessels Wavelength 4 and Wavelength 6.
