Part shop, part gallery, this Tamworth Street room is run by curator and stylist Jemima Aldridge as a source for what she calls heirloom objects of design. The stock moves between original artworks, antique and vintage pieces, hand-thrown ceramics, linens and fine apparel from European labels, chosen for a considered, pared-back interior rather than quick turnover. Rotating seasonal displays and an in-store hang for local and visiting artists give it the cadence of a small commercial gallery, and there is a private consultancy arm for people fitting out rooms. Open Wednesday to Saturday, it is an unexpectedly rigorous piece of retail for a regional city, curation you would file next to a capital-city concept store, set down in central Dubbo. Worth timing a visit around the current show.
