Staff are used to the questions and the food reads as inventive rather than dutiful, which has earned a loyal following among Gippsland's plant-based travellers. Pet- and child-friendly and open seven days for breakfast and lunch, it works as both a village pit stop off the Princes Highway and a reason to pull over in the first place.
