Forty years working Barossa, Clare and Yarra before Mark Heath landed in South Gippsland and started coaxing neglected vineyards back from pasture. His cellar door outside Loch runs Friday to Sunday; the wines — Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Riesling — come from individual parcels cropped at two to three tonnes per acre across sites selected for northerly aspect and maritime cool.
