Know before you go. Do not go beyond the river boardwalk towards the falls — the rocks are slippery and there have been serious injuries and deaths; the restricted area is signposted. Swimming is in the waterholes along the Murray River rather than at the falls themselves. The boardwalk starts at the top of the camping area and gives views from several angles, with the first 75m wheelchair accessible with assistance. The day-use area is open 24 hours.
