Set on ten acres high on the slopes of Mt Scanzi, this off-grid house looks out over Kangaroo Valley and its escarpments, about ten minutes from the village. Four queen bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, sleep up to eight, and the open living space centres on a 14-seat dining table, indoor fireplaces and a full kitchen. Outside there's a fire pit and a yoga deck; solar power, filtered rainwater and firewood heating keep it running. Native bushland and resident wildlife surround the property.
