Sven Borg spent years working through outdoor education qualifications — a Diploma in Outdoor Recreation, vertical rescue and remote first aid credentials among them — before a safety incident at another operator convinced him to build his own company around doing it properly. From a base in East Perth, guides now run abseiling and climbing in the Perth Hills, canyoning trips deep into Karijini National Park's gorges, and coastal adventures along the Wilyabrup sea cliffs and Cape to Cape Track in the state's south-west. The outfit carries $20 million public liability cover, trains instructors to nationally recognised standards, and has built its reputation — plant-based catering, carbon-offset programs — around getting the safety and sustainability side right rather than treating it as an afterthought. Trips are pitched across skill levels, from first-time abseils to multi-day canyoning expeditions. A genuinely statewide operator, useful whether the day starts in the Perth Hills or ends in the Pilbara.
