Eight years out of a rented garage, Common Wood now runs a small team from a Marrickville factory, building furniture from sustainably sourced and recycled Australian hardwoods. Everything is made from scratch and personally inspected before it leaves. The approach is straightforward: slow, considered work on pieces designed to outlast the trends that usually surround them.
