The 1895 brick cellars on Distillery Road have outlasted a French viticulturist's perpetual motion experiments, a Seppelt brandy operation, and one catastrophic column still. Chris Pfeiffer reopened them in 1985 as a winery; his daughter Jen now makes the wine. The Sunday Creek vineyard holds Pinot Noir traced to the Busby collection of 1832, and one of Australia's few commercial Gamay plantings.
