The same family has been farming this Mersey Valley land since 1908, selling fresh fruit until falling juice apple prices prompted a pivot: first to juice in 1998, then to cider in 2012. The cellar door at 96 Sheffield Road is where that century-long accumulation — volcanic soil, temperate climate, four generations of orchard knowledge — ends up in a glass.
