Des Brown bought this 20-hectare property in 1973, farmed it for four decades, then spent two years designing and building the first accommodation villa himself. Huon pine bedroom furniture, a rotating sofa, a bedhead made from old dairy machinery, Ben Lomond granite, and views across Mount Roland and ten other ranges. His daughter Sheree now runs it with him.
