Tangentyere Artists

An Aboriginal-owned, not-for-profit enterprise for the artists of Alice Springs' Town Camps, based on Elder Street and established in 2005. It works as studio, gallery and outreach program at once, known for bold figurative painting, inventive mark-making and rich colour. Under its wing sit Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, internationally recognised for their soft sculptures, and the Ewyenper Atwatye textile enterprise. The work made here blends traditional and contemporary Aboriginal practice.
