Warlukurlangu Artists

One of the oldest and most successful Aboriginal-owned art centres in Central Australia, this Yuendumu studio represents Warlpiri painters north-west of Alice Springs. Vivid acrylic canvases are its signature, alongside prints, craft and the painted carved dogs the community is known for. Artists tend to come in mid-week, and seasonal and cultural business can shift the hours, so it is worth calling ahead.
