Yandiwa

Francois and Annieka Mazieres founded Yandiwa in Alice Springs in 2014, forging blades and working leather at the dry heart of the country. Their handcrafted range spans chef's and petty knives, utility and carving blades, hunters and Bowies, made in the forged tradition. The work has drawn steady recognition at the Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland knife shows across recent years, taking best-in-class honours and a place in the book Australian and New Zealand Knifemaking. Yandiwa sells online, sharpens, and runs courses from the Alice Springs studio.
