Sunrise balloon flights lift off from Pialligo on Canberra's eastern edge, drifting for 45 to 60 minutes above the capital's lakes, ranges and planned streets under CASA-approved pilots. The operator has flown here for more than 35 years and started the Canberra Balloon Spectacular in 1986, now among the country's largest balloon gatherings. Flights suit passengers aged six and up, and bookings run through the operator directly. The launch point is 19 Kallaroo Road, Pialligo, in the ACT.
