A Woodend bakehouse since 1989, known across Victoria for its vanilla slice, and now in the hands of owners folding Filipino flavours into the Australian classics. There is an adobo pie. There is an ube vanilla slice, purple custard between the same golden pastry, which they say is the world's first. The scrolls come in ube and strawberry matcha. The good stuff goes before noon at weekends.
