The Hoskins family had an orchard here from the 1930s, and Donal and Pamela put vines in it in 1994. Three generations on, they still hold it. The vineyards run up to 970 metres, which is high by any measure. The name comes from Wagner, from the handmaiden who mixes the love potion in Tristan und Isolde, and two of the wines are called Isolde and Tristan. Simon and Will Gilbert make them.
