On a family organic farm above the Forthside valley in Tasmania's central north, a short drive from Devonport and the Spirit of Tasmania terminal, Colonial Blue is a tiny house on wheels wrapped in a cottage garden. It sleeps two, with an ensuite bathhouse and a tub set for indoor or outdoor soaking, and runs off-grid on solar and battery power like the rest of the property. Barnhaus and the architectural Arc Pavilion share the same eco-certified farm, with Mount Roland and Cradle Mountain country beyond.
