Mount Stromlo's purpose-built trail network is one of the busiest riding destinations in the country, and this is the outfit running the shuttle bus, the skills clinics and the e-bike loops that make it approachable for people who didn't grow up on a BMX. A gravity shuttle ferries riders and bikes to the top trailhead every forty minutes on weekends, school holidays and public holidays, cutting out the climb so the focus stays on the descent. Coaching runs from first-timer group lessons through to private masterclasses, with instructors working across Stromlo's full spread of graded trails — flow trails, technical black runs, jump lines. E-bike hire opens the park to riders from nine to ninety who want distance without the burn. The operation was a 2021 Australian Tourism Awards finalist in the adventure tourism category. Base is at The Handlebar Cafe inside Stromlo Forest Park, a twenty-minute drive from central Canberra — book the shuttle or a lesson slot online before arriving.
