Potter Lea Durie works from a studio at Strathnairn Arts Centre on the edge of the ACT, on Ngunnawal and Ngambri country, making functional stoneware in earthy clays. A reduction firing technique gives the tableware its muted, speckled shades and textured surfaces. Collections release in small batches several times a year, and Durie teaches masterclasses in foraged wild clay across the ACT and further afield.
