A local father-and-son team run this offshore fishing charter aboard Achiever, a fifteen-metre boat carrying up to twelve anglers out of Yamba from a 5:30am start. The grounds run from Evans Head to Sandon and east to the continental shelf, chasing snapper, pearl perch, mulloway, mackerel, kingfish and mahi mahi on supplied Shimano gear. Pick-ups are at Yamba Shores Tavern and the Iluka boatshed, with whale-watching added from mid-2026.
