Built in 1892 and heritage-listed, this second-generation family-run hotel sits on Churchill Street, Childers' main street. Inside are a public bar, garden bar and a new undercover outdoor area, plus a bistro serving meals seven days and nights. Chefs run the Mongrel Menu challenge dishes, among them a 1kg rump steak and Full Boar pork ribs. There's also a TAB, Keno, pokies and the town's only drive-through bottleshop.
