Near the Stanmore Road corner of Enmore, this compact Thai room has built a devoted following for cooking that is fully plant-based yet unmistakably Thai in its balance of heat, sour and salt. The kitchen, led by Vinita Chumsri, turns out betel-leaf miang, jackfruit and mushroom curries, and a laksa-adjacent noodle bowl regulars guard jealously. The crying 'tiger' and massaman lean on textured plant proteins without leaning on them too hard, and the som tum keeps its proper funk. The space seats only a couple of dozen, warmly lit and often full, so weekend bookings help. It sits within easy reach of the Enmore Theatre, making it a dependable pre-show table. Among Sydney's vegan Thai kitchens, it is one of the few that reads as a neighbourhood restaurant first.
