For more than 30 years Louise Macdonald has made fashion hats and bonnets from her Melbourne studio, work that has stood out at the Spring Racing Carnival, the Dubai World Cup and Royal Ascot. Her millinery has also appeared in film and television, including the BBC's Pride and Prejudice and Merchant Ivory's Howards End. In 2021 she was inducted into the Australian Millinery Association's Hall of Fame, and she still teaches millinery from the studio.
