Set among gardens in the mountain town of Marysville, near Lake Mountain and the Yarra Valley, this is a cluster of eight adults-only cottages run by hosts Anthony and Tracy. Rooms carry spa baths, some clawfoot or champagne, marble-top vanities and kitchenettes, with garden, mountain and river views. Named for the seasons and the orchard, Spring, Winter, Harvest and the rest, they are built for couples who come for the walks, the wineries and the snow, and want somewhere quiet to return to.
