A Wodonga-born fine-food merchant whose reputation rests on pastry: in the 2022 Official Great Aussie Pie Competition it took the title of Australia's best gourmet pie for a slow-cooked Chinese barbecue pork belly filling, part of a haul of fourteen medals across the 2021 and 2022 contests. Beyond the pies, the counters run to heat-and-eat meals, desserts, deli items, seafood and pantry goods, with catering and click-and-collect alongside. From a Wodonga base the business has grown to shopfronts in Albury and Beechworth and an outlet at Melbourne's Prahran Market, but it remains an independent operation rather than a franchise. It occupies a useful niche for a border city, restaurant-standard food to take home, and the competition record gives it a claim to notability well beyond the local. The Michael Drive premises is where the trade concentrates: pies, provisions and the day's baking.
