Freestanding self-contained pavilions on an eight-acre property at Cape Tribulation, where the Daintree rainforest runs down to the reef. Each looks out to Mount Sorrow and the forest canopy, and the place is run with a strong sustainability streak by hosts Lilian and Kim. It's a quiet base for the far end of the Daintree, beyond the river ferry, where the rainforest crowds the road and the beaches run empty. Recognised for its sustainable tourism in 2025. This is the remote, unhurried end of tropical Queensland.
