Chef Ajab Singh Rawat, who went by Gypsy, founded it, and the restaurant has held Hampton Street for around thirty years. Nitin and Coco run it now and greet most tables themselves, which is most of what regulars write about. The kitchen ranges across the regions, Punjab through to Calcutta, and the first floor room can be taken over for a function.
