A Mediterranean restaurant on New Canterbury Road in Dulwich Hill, cooking over specially selected charcoal and smoking barks. The name comes from an ancient Basque fire god, and fire runs through the menu: lamb off the spit, yiros, souvlaki, charcoal chicken and mezze.
Ingredients are sourced directly from farmers and growers for seasonal fruit and vegetables, lamb, beef and chicken, with seafood coming from the local fish markets. Much of what's served is made in-house, including the signature pickled vegetables that appear across the menu. It's a fully licensed bar, with beer, wine and cocktails.
