The Commercial Banking Company built this Federation weatherboard beside the Macleay in 1910 — red mahogany and cedar, six fireplaces, a strong room — and banked here until the 1970s. Alan and Tania Cummins photographed it for years before asking to buy it in 1996. Tania trained as a chef; the restaurant followed. Two suites fill the old manager's dining and lounge rooms: four-poster beds, open fires, one looking onto the river.
