High on Mt Shadforth outside Denmark, the outlook runs across valley forest and farmland to Wilson Inlet and the Southern Ocean beyond. The self-contained chalets and adults-only spa studios all make the most of it, with gas log fires, spa baths, full kitchens and private balconies; a three-bedroom house adds a swim spa. There's a restaurant on site. It suits couples after a romantic escape and families wanting space, four and a half kilometres from town.
