High on the north coast of Kangaroo Island, above one of the island's better beaches, four off-grid WanderPods look out to the sea. Three sleep two, Columba, Pyxis and Carina, while Vela takes four, and the whole site can be booked out for up to ten. Each pod runs on solar and comes with air conditioning, a fireplace and outdoor bathing, some with 180-degree ocean views you can watch from bed. It's about fifty minutes from Kingscote and an hour and twenty from the Cape Jervis ferry.
