Mike founded KIB in 2015, building it from recycled materials salvaged from local shearing sheds and quarried stone. The result is rough-hewn but considered — a brewery that looks like it grew out of Kangaroo Island rather than arrived on it. The beer follows the same logic: made for the island, shaped by whoever walks through the door.
