The founding myth alone is worth the pint: in 2006, brothers Andrew and Dave Ong smuggled decommissioned brewing tanks out of Times Square at 2am before shipping them to Moorabbin. Those tanks — christened Soho, Hell's Kitchen, Brooklyn — still pour today in a warehouse beerhall with a beer garden out back. One of Victoria's original craft breweries, and still family-run.
