Antonio's Pizzeria

A pizzeria on the Kingsway in Caringbah, open evenings from Tuesday to Sunday. The kitchen turns out a long list of pizzas alongside pastas, salads and desserts, with gluten-free bases available and half-and-half an option on any pie.

The range runs from the plain cheese and margherita through house creations named for people — the Antonios Special, Jamie Special, Crazy Dave and Lisa Special. Greek notes recur: a lamb souvlaki pizza with mint yoghurt and feta, and a baked custard galaktoboureko finished with fillo, syrup and cinnamon. Seafood versions bring in tiger prawns and anchovies.
