Since 1976, the Australian Tapestry Workshop has produced over 500 handwoven tapestries in a South Melbourne heritage building on Park Street. Visitors watch weavers at work from a mezzanine gallery, look down into the on-site dye lab where wool is coloured across 368 shades, and browse two rotating exhibition spaces. The shop sells that same yarn by colour. Open Thursday to Saturday.
