A wood-fired pizza kitchen in Blackburn, run as a family business. Pizzas come from a wood oven, which chars the crust and cooks quickly at high heat. Chef David is a master baker who trained from the age of 16 in baking and pastry, and holds a Master Baker Award from 2013. Toppings run from an Italian Margherita to San Daniel prosciutto with house-made pesto, potato with roasted peppers and goat cheese, hot sopressa salami, and porcini mushrooms with fior di latte, using ingredients like fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. Open evenings Tuesday to Saturday.
