Beside Lake Nenia in the Perth Hills, engineer-turned-distiller Nenad Djurdjevic produces what's claimed as Australia's first organic Saprock Shochu, alongside gin, vodka, limoncello, and a coffee liqueur. The name Beelu comes from the Noongar word for river — the same people who are traditional custodians of this land.
