Tim Besley spent 15 years designing consumer products before pivoting to timber furniture. His Coburg North workshop — studio by appointment — makes everything to order, so dimensions, features and timber species are all adjustable. The mix of CNC and hand tools is typical of this generation of designer-makers; the results, in carefully selected hardwoods, are built to outlast the brief.
