A childhood bee attack — stung hundreds of times, unable to walk for days — planted the seed. Forty-odd years later, that same family runs this Murrumbateman supplier out of a rural block, moving hives from Cootamundra to the Snowy Mountains for yellow box, spotted gum and tea tree honey. Hives, extractors, protective gear and beekeeping courses, all from people who actually keep bees.
