Boobook Explore

Run by ecologists Craig and Meryl Eddie, Boobook leads small-group nature tours out of Roma into the Carnarvon Ranges country of southwest Queensland. Craig has spent two decades mapping the region's plants and animals, and the tours show it: birding, wildflowers, glow-in-the-dark scorpions under UV, and a citizen-science BioBlitz. Much of it runs on private stations — Wallaroo, Mt Abundance — otherwise closed to visitors. Day trips through to multi-day glamping holidays. Advanced Eco-certified.
