A freshwater swimming hole below a waterfall at Palm Grove, roughly midway between Proserpine and Airlie Beach — about twenty kilometres from the first, thirty from the second. White cedars and a towering rock wall enclose the pool, and the drive in runs through cane country. From the car park it is a short stroll to the water, which keeps the falls popular with locals as well as visitors passing between the Bruce Highway and the coast.
